Development of brand positioning and communication strategy for aizo and Digitalstrom – the Swiss pioneers of a new technology in house automation


Digitalstrom is viewed to be the technology of the future because it connects all household appliances such as washing machines, lights, TV sets, toasters, etc. through the internet. This leads to higher energy efficiency and more comfort in people‘s homes.

Together with its partner agency Verinion, DorkaBrandConsulting was aaked to develop the brand positioning for aizo who is the chip manufacturer as well as for Digitalstrom. Digitalstrom is the non-profit alliance that drives all activites around the new technology. Based on the positionings, a communication strategy was developed which covered a broad spectrum of target groups: from installers to architects; from end-consumers to political committees.
